Accessibility statement
Midterms26 accessibility statement: standard, conformance status, known limitations and how to report a problem.
Commitment
NGA Media is committed to making midterms26.com accessible to people with disabilities.
Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, which also covers the requirements of Israeli Standard 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0 level AA).
Conformance status
The site partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA: most content conforms, and the known exceptions are listed below. The site is under active development and is checked as new pages are added.
Known limitations
- Maps are drawings: each area has a text label, and the same information is given in a table or list on the page, but moving around a map itself is easier with a pointer than with a keyboard.
- Pen-sketch illustrations (skylines, candidate placeholders, office emblems) are decorative and carry no information of their own.
- Some long tables are best read with the filters above them; on small screens they switch to a stacked layout.
Technology
The site relies on HTML, CSS and SVG, with small scripts for filters, menus and sharing. Pages work without JavaScript, with filters and search not available.
Feedback
If you find a barrier, please contact us with the page address and a short description. We aim to reply within five business days.
