Privacy policy
What Midterms26 collects (very little), why, and your choices. Operated by NGA Media.
Who we are
Midterms26.com is operated by NGA Media ("we"). This policy explains what information is processed when you visit the site.
No accounts
The site has no user accounts and no login, and we do not sell personal information.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic, the page you mention and your message, by email, so that we can answer you. We do not add you to any list, and we keep the email only as long as needed to handle your message.
Update subscriptions
If you choose "Get updates", we keep your email address (confirmed by a link we email you) or your browser's notification address, your language, and when and from which page you signed up, as the record of your consent. We use them only to send Midterms26 updates. Emails are delivered by our email provider, and browser notifications by your browser's push service. Every email has an unsubscribe link; to stop browser notifications, turn them off in your browser. When you unsubscribe, we delete your entry.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and approximate location, under Google's own privacy terms. We use the reports only in aggregate, to improve the site. You can block these cookies in your browser or with a browser extension; the site works fully without them.
Cookies and your consent
Analytics cookies are set only after you agree in the cookie banner; until then Google Analytics runs in consent mode with storage denied, and advertising storage is never allowed. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal. Your choice, the time you made it and the version of this notice are saved in your browser as the record of your consent; you can change it at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. This follows the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules for visitors in Europe and the United Kingdom, and the opt-out rights of US state privacy laws such as California's.
Hosting and security
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
On your device
If you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not sent to us.
Sharing and embeds
Share buttons open the network you choose (for example X, Facebook or WhatsApp) only when you click them; that network's privacy terms then apply. Sites that embed our maps and tables load them from midterms26.com, so the points above apply there too.
Children
The site is for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not keep personal profiles, there is usually nothing for us to give you or delete. For data processed by Google Analytics, you can use Google's tools or contact us and we will help where we can. Contact us.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes and show the new date below.
